New date formulas

We’re expanding our library of unique formulas in Equals to make working with dates even easier. Here are a few new ones you’ll find helpful:

=SOMONTH(date, offset)

Returns the start of the month for any given date, with an optional offset to move forward or backward in time.

=MONTHSTO(date, num_months, [direction])

Spills a list of months leading up to date, going back num_months. Great for building a quick lookback over the last N months.

=MONTHSFROM(date, num_months, [direction])

The inverse of MONTHSTO — spills a list of months starting from date, moving forward num_months.

=WEEKSTO(date, num_months, [direction])

Returns the week-start date for each week over the past num_months ending at date.

=WEEKSFROM(date, num_months, [direction])

Returns the week-start date for each week over the next num_months starting from date.
